We stayed at Maya in a connected Family room. Maya Trip Report 5/19-5/24 Thanks to everyone on this board for sharing so much information, it was very helpful. Pool- we ended up here due to seaweed alot, seats are reserved starting at 6am, get there by 8:30 or you may. Never an issue getting seats at the beach, beach bar has great drinks and good snack bar food, paella on the beach is Tues & Thurs abt 1pm. Do bring the power strip you’ll need it.īeach- we were only able to swim 2 out of 6 days due to seaweed but it was gorgeous while we could. Housekeeping was fine and we had towel art once. Well appointed room w/coffee maker/fridge/robes, a few signs of wear, some minor hiccups (door knob fell off and safe needed a reset.) Building concierge got maintenance there within 30 min not a prob. Wish they had given us a printed map because it took us two days to figure out the layout!īuilding 61 - great spot right between beach-pool & Tapatio buffet. Many staff came up and gave us info, and helped us line up Covid testing/offered to do restaurant reservations etc. We arrived at an off hour I guess because no one else was checking in. In addition to this, some of our guests do not show up for their reservations, however, we must allow a waiting time before giving the tables out. Also, because of Covid restrictions, we must maintain a reduced capacity of guests to guarantee the safety of all. On the other hand, we regret that you had some difficulties with your dinner reservations, however, allow us to explain that our á la carte restaurants operate under a system of different schedules, planned to create a personalized and fine dining experience. As we aim on a daily basis to exceed the needs and goals of our valued guests and provide them with a place of joy and total comfort, we are obviously humbled by your kind words.
